Kluber Duotempi PMY 45 - 30kg bucket is a light-coloured, high pressure lubricating paste for use with frictional connections that are subjected to medium temperatures and used in predominantly dry environments.
Duotempi PMY 45 is based on mineral and synthetic hydrocarbon oil, solid lubricants and a special lithium soap.
Kluber Duotempi effectively ensures easy assembly and disassembly of interference fits and clamping connections that are subjected to medium loads. It also prevents fretting corrosion.
When used as a lubricating paste, the paste can be used for low-speed bearings, guides, joints, bushes, eccentric units, seals, bolts and hinges in plant and machine engineering. It can also be used for automotive components like gear shift gates, ball joints, seat rails, steering knuckle pins or profile gears.
When used as an assembly paste, it can be used for interference, transition and loose fits.
If being used as a screw paste, it is suitable for austenitic materials (A2-70) as well as for the assembly of screws and bolts when being used at normal temperatures.
It is important to note, that before using this paste, you should ensure that surfaces are cleaned and degreased. It should then be applied in a thin layer using a brush, plastic sponge or a dry, lint free cloth.
